The Polytechnic University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid /UPM) has developed a service for the implementation of virtual workstations, called "escritorioUPM", with the aim of transforming the University's processes to access activities remotely.
The project required flawless performance from all parties involved. Having the experience of experts from NetApp, Lenovo, Virtual Cable and Lanmedia paved the way and accelerated the implementation of the solution. All the pieces had to be working in perfect sync for everything to go smoothly.
The escritorioUPM project aims to provide support for UPM teaching practices so that they can be carried out at any time, from anywhere and with any device connected to the Internet.
