NetApp is growing, and our pending CloudCheckr acquisition will see us become a leading player in the FinOps space, we are augmenting and accelerating our Spot portfolio to address our customers’ and partners’ number one challenge: optimizing their cloud spend to move faster to the public clouds.

Our intent to acquire CloudCheckr, an exciting cloud cost and security management company formed in 2011 in Rochester NY that has risen to the top of the FinOps category, will be a game-changer for organizations seeking to control their cloud costs.

Leveraging CloudCheckr, Spot by NetApp will deliver a portfolio for cloud cost, security management and desktop as a service, designed to meet the unique needs of MSPs and cloud distributors. The combined CloudCheckr and Spot by NetApp FinOps solution will blend detailed billing and usage data for a cloud or multiple cloud environments, analytics highlighting cost-saving opportunities, secure configuration risks, and automated, continuous optimizations to help MSPs achieve their revenue, margin, and efficiency objectives—solving cloud problems on behalf of their customers.
